Setup
 

• Create your Bachelor/Bachelorette: Get creative, they can be anything you want them to be! Old, Young, Pretty, Ugly, Rich, Poor. The beauty of this challenge is the rules are very relaxed, and you can truly let your creativity go here! Give them any traits you like, BUT The Romantic Trait IS REQUIRED.

•  If you are doing this in LP form. Then keep the traits a secret for now

• Create your contestants: In The Sims 4, you can have 8 sims per household. So this means you have 7 spaces left! If you are doing this as a personal challenge. Create 7 very diverse sims if you wish. Get creative with your traits and sims personality. 

•  If you are doing this in LP form.  This is a great time to let your supporters JOIN IN on the fun, allow them to create 7 singles for your new lp!

• Pick Your Pad: Money isn't a issue. Usually a Bachelor/Bachelorette is pretty well off. Make sure when selecting a home you have enough space for all of your sims to live in existence with one another comfortably.

• NEED FUNDS? Use the Motherlode cheat by pressing the CTRL ALT C buttons and entering Motherlode, and press enter. Wa-la! 50,000 simoleons a pop baby!!

Eliminations

​

• Eliminations will take place every 3RD day or 3RD episode, at 3 pm sharp.

• Before the elimination have the bachelor/bachelorette you will have a certain interaction with each single on the given elimination day 

• The woman/man with the least compatibility with the Bachelor/Bachelorette will be forced to leave the house at once on elimination day. Once the sim has left, no further contact is allowed. 

• In the event of a tie. Check to see which sim has the best relationship with the rest of the sims in the household. OR is filming a LP.. Post a poll and eliminate said Sim before the next part of the Challenge.

Building Relationships

​

​

• In order to build relationships, you will need to go on dates. You can do group outings or if your really feeling a sim go on a one on one. Its up to you how you go about it, your goal during these dates is to get to know the sims better, no repeat one on one dates with the same sim unless you have given everyone else who remains in the household a one on one. 

• In the House: Interactions between sims are allowed, as long as they are fair and non romantic! (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED) Sims are free to do as they please.

• Group Dates: The Bachelor/Bachelorette and contestants can interact with each other. Only on Friendly terms. Contestants can interact with each other, even Getting the other contestants in bad "moods" can help the other sims gain the advantage. Also don't be afraid to get a little dirty!  Sometimes you gotta take whats yours! 

  • NO forced romantic interactions, IF It happens anonymously. You MUST allow it to happen. Can cause jealously.

• Date One on One:

  • ​Try to go on a one on one with each sim if possible. IF you can't choose PICK the sim with the lowest relationship to the host. Keep the dates fresh, maybe a stroll in the park. Grab a drink at the local night club,  go for a workout? Attend the spa?

  • DO things that your sims enjoy together (common traits) A nice camping trip with that special sim your starting to like. Whatever you choose.  Kissing IS allowed.

  • You CAN Cancel the date once gold level has been reached, but cannot cancel no matter what until then! 

  • No whoohoo is allowed until only 2 contestants remain

• No Try for a Baby until the challenge is completed! 

• If your Bachelor or Bachelorette has thoughts of a sim, be an interaction or even romantic. EXCLUDING WOOHOO. You ARE allowed to preform the interaction at any given time. Solo date or not. However this is the ONLY time you can proform such actions. The singles, no matter WHAT the want. Are not given this privilege. 

Day 1

 

• Take this to get everyone settled in. Put in some game tables, chess tables, bar or whatever social items you have available to break the ice. Interact with the contestants, and visa versa. Keep it friendly.

Day 2: Group Date

​

• Set up a "party" at a local park, club, pub, gallery, gym what have you and test your sims compatibility! Goal is to try to fish out the sims who are here for love, or other intentions! Invite all the contestants!

Day 3: Speed Dating

​

• Try to go on as many dates as you can. Pick your first girl at random, or at this time who ever has the lowest relationship with the bachelor or bachelorette. Try to get to know them better!

​

Day 4: First Elimination

​

• Spend the day at home, mingling working on skills. What have you. Contestants this is your final chance to make an impression!

• Ask If each sim is single before elimination.

• 3 pm, choose the contestant who has the least compatibility to leave the house.

• Offer A Rose To the REMAINING SIMS.

Day 5: House Party

​

• Come one come all. Throw a house party hire all the works and get the party started. Aim for a gold medal and have everyone get to know each other have a good time....For a little extra drama Pick two of the singles with the lowest relationships with each other to start a little altercation.

Day 6: Speed Dating

​

• Try to go on as many dates as you can. Pick your first girl at random, or at this time who ever has the highest relationship with the bachelor or bachelorette. Try to get to know them better!

Day 7: Second Elimination

​

• Spend the day at home, mingling working on skills. What have you. Contestants this is your final chance to make an impression!

• HUG each sim before elimination.

• 3 pm, choose the contestant who has the least compatibility to leave the house.

• Offer A Rose To the REMAINING SIMS.

Day 8: Free Day

​

• Enjoy this day as any other, just RELAX and mingle!

​

Day 9: Speed Dating

​

• Try to go on as many dates as you can. Pick your first girl at random or Usinh the Chair method as stated above. Try to get to know them better!

Day 10: Third Elimination

​

• Spend the day at home, mingling working on skills. What have you. Contestants this is your final chance to make an impression!

• compliment each sim before elimination.

• 3 pm, choose the contestant who has the least compatibility to leave the house.

• Offer A Rose To the REMAINING SIMS.

Day 11: Party Day

​

• Set up a "party" at a local park, club, pub, gallery, gym what have you and test your sims compatibility! Goal is to continue to get to know the remaining sims and build even stronger relationships!

​

Day 12: Solo Date

​

• Pick one girl to spend the day with!

​

Day 13: Fourth Elimination

​

• Spend the day at home, mingling working on skills. What have you. Contestants this is your final chance to make an impression!

• kiss each sims hands before elimination.

• 3 pm, choose the contestant who has the least compatibility to leave the house.

• Offer A Rose To the REMAINING SIMS.

Day 14: Black and White Party

​

• Set up a Black and White Bash, try to get the Gold Medal and invite a sim or (sims) of importance such as, exes, children parents siblings, or friends! Try to get the Singles to mingle and gain a good relationship with them!! Drama WELCOME as usual ;) !

​

Day 15: Free Day

​

• Enjoy this day as any other, just RELAX and mingle!

​

Day 16: Fifth Elimination

​

• Spend the day at home, mingling working on skills. What have you. Contestants this is your final chance to make an impression!

  EMBRACE IF possible.. each single sim before elimination.

  3 pm, choose the contestant who has the least compatibility to leave the house. Take in to consideration the relationship status with the sim they met of importance!

• Offer A Rose To the REMAINING SIMS.

Day 17: Solo Date

​

• Go on a vacation with the sim with the highest relationship. (IF YOU DON'T HAVE OUTDOOR RETREAT, GO SOMEPLACE ELSE FOR THE DAY)

Day 18: Solo Date

​

• Go on a vacation with the sim with the Lowest relationship. (IF YOU DON'T HAVE OUTDOOR RETREAT, GO SOMEPLACE ELSE FOR THE DAY)

Day 19: Final Elimination/Proposal

​

• The final day of the challenge. Your Bachelor/Bachelorette has a LOT of thinking to do today, go out for a jog, go for a drink.

• To pick the winner you can do the following:

  • You can either host a poll prior to episode 19

  • pick via random

  • go by your favorite

  • by who has the best relationship with the Bachelor/Bachelorette

  • If your Sim have a whim about marrying one of the two, then you have to pick the one he/she wants

• Once a decision has been made. Bring your two contestants somewhere romantic. 

• Give your pick, a final rose.

• If necessary build up relationship to the point of being able to propose.
