The​ Great Depression

​

  • Everyone must lose their jobs

  • Using the Money cheat, make your Sim lose 40% of what they have. If your household has 10000, you have to type Money 6000

  • For one week, Teenagers, Young adults and adults can only make money by collecting items like rocks, plants and fish

  • Sims can only have one meal using the stove, if they feel hungry after, they can eat some fruits

  • Bills may only be paid after the electricity has been cut off (Water too if you want a harder version)

  • Sims who become Young Adults this generation must have one of the following traits:

    • Gloomy

    • Evil

    • Noncommital

  • Sims can drink alchool again

  • Sims can paint small frames

  • Small pets and caged animals like fish, hamster or rats are allowed, but if you want to buy pygmy hedgehog, or miniature bubalus your family must have more than 300,000 Simoleons because only rich families have those back in the day

Career

​

  • Business career is not allowed anymore and if you had a Store, you have to close it for one week

  • After one week, you can reopen your store, return to your previous career or join a new one

    • Politician â€‹

    • Writer 

    • Business (Management Branch)

    • Culinary (Chef Branch)

  • Women can work only if they are single, divorced or widow or if their partner doesn't bring enough money. Careers allowed for women:

    • Criminal (Boss) 

    • Culinary (Chef) 

    • Entertainment (Music)

    • Gardening 

    • Painter 

    • Writer

    • Actor

  • Part-time Jobs: 

  • Men:

    • Fishermen

    • Lifeguard

    • Manual Laborer

  • Women:

    • Babysitter

    • Lifeguard

    • Manual Laborer

    • Retail Employee 

  • Teenagers and elders cannot have a part-time job

Holiday

  • Add "Halloween" with the following activities:

    • Tell Stories

    • Spooky Spirit

    • Trick or Treat

    • Wear Costumes

  • Modify "Christmas" and add Santa Claus because Coca-Cola made it famous after a campaign in 1930
